Let’s make the King Island community vibrant and prosperous!
I am asking for your vote because I am looking at ways to improve the island’s economic sustainability for future generations. Furthermore, I would like to see more improvements to the island’s telecommunications so that our emergency services, education services, and general livelihoods can benefit. Additionally, I would like to see improvements to our main street so that it reflects what makes King Island great. Please consider voting for me so that I can strive to help the community.
I, Joseph Daniel, am running to be a councillor for King Island, because I believe we need the youth of this island to start giving more valuable input and changes in our community.
I have grown up on the island my whole life and love it more than anything, this place will always be home no matter where I am. I surf, free dive, work and make films all on the island. It’s a playground where I feel free and don’t have any limits. The island has so much to offer young people, but it isn’t being sold that way. My generation is not being supported. I want to bring more young Australians to KI.
My name is Stefan. I have lived on King Island since 2012 and love the strong community spirit and beautiful scenery. I work as a mechanic for my family business and I volunteer with the Fire Service and SES. I have keen interests in business, local policy, emergency services and regional development. I am young, interested, and willing to do my best to serve the interests of our Island community with this opportunity. Thank you King Islanders for considering me.
