On 9 June 2018, the Government called for public submissions on a review into the Tasmanian Electoral Act 2004.
The Tasmanian Electoral Commission (TEC) lodged a submission to the Review in July 2018 and, following the publication of the Interim Report, lodged a further submission in March 2019. A copy of each TEC submission is provided below.
The TEC supports and values the importance of a review into the Act, particularly given the changes in and around the electoral environment since 2004.
