In accordance with the Aboriginal Lands Act 1995, elections are to be held for 8 members of the Aboriginal Land Council of Tasmania (ALCT).

To vote or to stand for election to the ALCT, a person must have their name entered on the ALCT Electors Roll. The ALCT Electors Roll currently comprises the names of persons entitled to vote at the previous ALCT elections conducted in 2021. Any other Aboriginal person who wishes to participate in these elections will need to apply for enrolment.
