2024 State Election





Vision impaired and assisted voting

VI-Vote terminals will be available throughout the voting period from Monday 4 March 2024. These specially designed systems provide enhanced audio, visual and printing capabilities to enable independent voting for people with vision impairment or low vision.

Locations

Terminals will be available at selected early voting centres until 6 pm Friday 22 March, then relocated to selected polling places on polling day.

From 8 am to 6 pm on polling day, Saturday 23 March, terminals will be available at the following polling places:

Other assistance available

On arrival at a polling place, ask for the polling place manager, who will be happy to explain the approved assisted voting procedures. These include nominating another person to assist you at a voting screen or, for those unable (due to a disability) to enter the polling place, having voting material brought by an electoral official to your car.
