If you are unable to vote in person, either early or on polling day, you may be eligible to vote by post. To apply, you must complete and return the application form below. Applications close at 4 pm on Friday 15 March 2024.
Postal ballot packs will be sent to approved applicants commencing Monday 4 March 2024.
For electors who are interstate or overseas at the time of the election, we recommend you consider using our Telephone Assisted Voting service, which will be available from 11 am on Tuesday 12 March.
Apply as soon as possible. Remember, postal services can be slow.

Ballot papers can only be printed when all candidates are known, after the close of nominations. Postal ballot packs will be sent to approved applicants from Monday 4 March 2024, following the announcement of candidates.
The Australia Post service standard for delivery of priority mail is up to 2 business days in Tasmania and up to 4 business days for interstate.
If you haven't received your pack by Thursday 21 March, you may want to consider voting at a pre-poll centre or at a polling place on polling day. Those with difficulty accessing a polling place, can attend a polling place in a vehicle (with or without a postal voting pack) and we can assist you with car-side voting.
You must record your vote before 6 pm on polling day, Saturday 23 March.
We can receive returned postal votes until 10 am Tuesday 2 April.
Like ordinary and pre-poll voting, postal voting maintains the secrecy of your vote.
