In 2022, periodic elections will be conducted for the Legislative Council divisions of Elwick and McIntyre. Additionally, a by-election will be held concurrently to fill the member vacancy for the division of Huon.

The elected members for Elwick and McIntyre will serve until the 2028 periodic elections. The elected member for Huon will serve until the 2026 periodic elections.

Polling day is Saturday 7 May 2022.

Remember, voting in the Legislative Council elections is compulsory.

Electors in isolation can be authorised by the TEC (call 1800 801 701) to be able to attend a special drive-through polling place. If you can’t get to the special drive-through polling place, you may be able to vote by phone. Call 1800 801 701 for more information.

Unable to vote on polling day?  You can still have your say!

  You can vote at a pre-poll centre from Monday 11 April. Locations are closed.

  You can apply to vote by post. Postal vote applications closed at 4pm, Friday 29 April.

  There are also voting options for overseas electors.
