How -

You attend a pre-poll centre
You declare you are unable to attend a polling place on polling day
You record your vote + place it in the ballot box

When -

Pre-poll centres will be open in 12 Tasmanian locations.

Pre-poll voting centres in Burnie, Devonport, Glenorchy, Hobart, Kingston, Launceston and Sorell, will be open from Monday 19 February until Friday 2 March.

Pre-poll voting centres in Nubeena, Queenstown, Scottsdale, Smithton and St Helens, will be open on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 March.

Interstate pre-poll locations will be open from Monday 19 February. Voting services will be available during their normal business hours until their close of business on Friday 2 March. See below for details.

You apply for a postal vote
We check your enrolment + send you a ballot pack
You record your vote + post it back

When:

Returning your Vote -

You must record your vote before 6pm on polling day, Saturday 3 March

We can receive postal ballot papers until 10am Tuesday 13 March.

Express vote

Express Vote applications have now closed.

You apply for an express vote
We check your eligibility + email or fax a ballot pack to you
You print your ballot paper
You record your vote, sign a declaration + email or fax back

Returning your Vote -

You must return your express vote before 6pm on polling day, Saturday 3 March
