2020 Elections


In 2020, electors enrolled in Huon and Rosevears have the opportunity to shape their state. Elections will be conducted for one member for each of these Legislative Council divisions. The elected members will serve until the 2026 periodic elections.

Remember, voting in the Legislative Council elections is compulsory.

Each year, the TEC produces an information booklet that is designed to assist intending candidates for Tasmanian Legislative Council elections. The 2020 edition is not yet available but in the meantime, the 2019 candidate information web page and booklet may be of some assistance.
